Weights and Measurements Conversion for Baking

Weights:
1 pound = 16 ounces
1 ounce = 28.35 grams

Liquid Measurements:
1 Gallon = 4 quarts
1 quart = 2 pints
1 pint = 2 cups
1 cup = 8 fluid ounces
1 fluid ounce = 2 Tablespoons
1 Tablespoon= 3 teaspoons

Water, Eggs, and Dairy:
1 Gallon = 8 pounds
1 quart = 2 pounds
1 pint = 1 pounds
1 cup = 8 ounces
1 Tbsp = 0.5 ounce

Flour:
1 cup = approximately 3.5 to 5 ounces

Yeast:
1 packet active dry = ¼ ounce  or 7 grams or 2 ¼ teaspoon.
1 teaspoon active dry yeast = 3 grams
1 teaspoon of instant yeast = 1¼ teaspoon of active dry yeast
1 teaspoon of active dry yeast = 0.8 teaspoon of instant yeast

Salt:
1 Tablespoon of salt = 20 grams
1 teaspoon of salt = 6.7 grams
